Did Tyler Perry Fire His Staff over Boondocks Leak?

Did you hear the one about Tyler Perry cleaning house after his portrayal as the leader of a homoerotic cult in the “Pause” episode of The Boondocks? Word has it that many of the allegations raised in that episode were so accurate that Perry concluded it was an inside job.
Our source also says that Madea is giving pink slips to his entire staff [not the shirtless boy wonders of course] starting Friday – – he wants to control any leaks of information about ”the compound!!” [via Carlton Jordan]
The Boondocks has had no trouble making enemies this season. Earlier in May, we saw will.i.am throw a bitchfest on Twitter after Aaron McGruder’s animated series pegged him as an Obama dickrider.

CIA Gives Blackwater Firm New $100 Million Contract
The Central Intelligence Agency has hired Xe Services, the private security firm formerly known as Blackwater Worldwide, to guard its facilities in Afghanistan and elsewhere, according to an industry source.
The previously undisclosed CIA contract is worth about $100 million, said the industry source, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the deal, which is classified.
“It’s for protective services … guard services, in multiple regions,” said the source.
Two other security contractors, Triple Canopy and DynCorp International, put in losing bids for the CIA’s business, the source said. (A DynCorp spokeswoman says the company did not bid on the contract.)
The revelation comes only a day after members of a federal commission investigating war-zone contractors blasted the State Department for granting Blackwater with a new $120 million contract to guard U.S. consulates under construction in Afghanistan.
CIA spokesman Paul Gimigliano stopped short of confirming the contract, saying only that Xe personnel would not be involved in operations.
“While this agency does not, as a rule, comment on contractual relationships we may or may not have, we follow all applicable federal laws and regulations,” Gimigliano said.
Some Of US Taxpayers’ Money Leaks To Taliban
US taxpayer dollars are finding their way to the pockets of the Taliban, according to a new 75-page congressional report about the military’s use of Afghan security firms.
The firms are used to ensure the safe passage of supply convoys. If the US doesn’t pay up, almost without fail the convoy gets attacked.
The American military hires trucking companies to deliver supplies to their bases in Afghanistan and leaves it up to the companies to protect themselves. The truckers then pay local security companies or warlords to escort their trucks.
We Are Change San Jose Document Cop Armored Vehicle
Cops in Campbell, California, tool around the streets late at night in a military-style armored vehicle. One wonders if the cops were on a joy ride or if they were on their way to bust some pot smokers and kill their dogs. Or maybe they were engaged in an operation to get late nighters accustomed to the idea that the police are now little different than a military occupation army.

Fabolous Investigated For Possible Connection To Murder Of Memphis Bleek Associate G Baby
Police are investigating a possible link between hip-hop star Fabolous and the murder of an upstart rapper near a Queens nightclub, the Daily News has learned.
NYPD detectives aren’t sure what role, if any, the Brooklyn rapper might have played in the March killing, but a surveillance video shows Fabolous leaving Club Amazura seconds before a mystery gunman blasted Greg (G-Baby) Brown in the back.
“[Fabolous] is about to get in the car as the shooting goes down,” said a police source who watched the video.
Police and G-Baby’s relatives say the rappers – both from Bedford-Stuyvesant – had a longstanding beef, though a source said they’d put it behind them.
“My son was going to talk to Fab in a car, and he got shot three times,” grieving mother Roxanne Brown said. “I don’t know what’s going on. I just want to know who killed my son.”
Homicide investigators have yet to interview Fabolous, whose real name is John Jackson, and won’t until they get more information on his possible connection to the slaying. Police haven’t made an arrest in the March 13 shooting, and Fabolous hasn’t been named as a suspect.
