Peace. Above is video of my good brother Askira Sabur being beaten damn near to death by some punk @ss cops with balls in there badge. I’m going to give you all the real story which I am sure you wont get anywhere else and then you can read the story below from the mainstream media and you can see how the mainstream media does what they do best… spin the truth.
On the evening of Sept 3rd, Brother Askia Sabur on his bike was accompanied by 3 other gentlemen on bikes to Lucky Star Chinese store located at 55th & Landsdowne. After ordering his food, the 3 other gentlemen had dispersed leaving Askia’s bike unattended outside of the store. As the temperature rose in the store, Askia stepped outside for fresh air and to tend after his bike which wasnt chained or secured in anyway. 2 unnamed and unidentified police officers approached him telling him to move away from the store and his bike. His food was already paid for so while he tried to explain this to the officer, one officer pushed him off the steps into another officer and began to brutally beat him for no reason other than his reputation as an activist in the community.
You see, in the article below and all of the others I have read pertaining to this situation, all they seem to mention of brother Sabur’s affiliations are those to a criminal past and to the justice system he was a victim of but never to the injustice system he fought against. This attack on brother Sabur was not an isolated incident, these are the type of attacks that are carried out when you try to speak out against the system that is designed against impoverished people. This is not the first victim and if something is not done he will not be the last. Hotep. -iSpit
